Welcome to Channel Biomedix.
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to share with you why we are here and why this work matters to me so deeply. This company is more than a service; it is the result of a lifetime devoted to innovation.
Over the past three decades, I have had the privilege of working in the world of science, medicine, and innovation across many countries: from China and Japan to the Netherlands, from Germany to Switzerland, Australia, and the USA, and now Sweden. These years have allowed me to work with every side of the life sciences—from big pharma to pioneering tissue engineering, advanced technologies, and medical devices—and to see how innovation can change lives when it finds its way to the world.
What I have also learned is that innovation alone is never enough. The most extraordinary ideas often come from small companies or even single scientists, yet they face enormous challenges in bringing those ideas to market. They need expertise, resources, and above all a partner who can connect all the pieces: to take a concept, refine its message, build a strategy, and make it a reality.
This is why I founded Channel InnoMatrix in 2006 — to help innovators succeed. From the very beginning, our approach has been different. We are not a traditional consulting firm that produces reports and leaves execution to others. We work hands-on. We think with you, plan with you, and then we do the work: identifying opportunities, designing strategies, building partnerships, and delivering results.
Looking back over nearly twenty years since this vision began, I am deeply proud of what we have been able to do. We have supported numerous startups and innovative companies, helping them succeed with their science, their business, and their vision. It is rewarding to see these ideas make a difference in the world. At the same time, I am grateful for how much I have learned from these collaborations. Working so closely with innovators has allowed me and our team to grow alongside our clients.
This journey has also allowed Channel InnoMatrix to evolve. Today, we have grown into the Channel Biomedical Group, with offices in the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Sweden. Along the way, our role has expanded—in some cases, we work as partners, and in others, we even invest alongside our clients—always with the same purpose: to bring innovation to life and to the markets where it can do the most good.
